However, the players should know that the Omaha Hi Lo Poker game will always have a high hand winner but not always a low hand one because in order to be ranked as a low hand, the hand should have five cards that are not higher than an eight. The Ace card can play as both a high and a low hand depending on the aim. The low cards are a five, a four, a three and a two, while the high cards are a King, Queen and Jack. This leaves the middle cards - six, seven, eight, nine and ten. Each round allows three raises of the bet. The most important Omaha Hi Lo Poker playing strategy is to remember that in the split pot games there is a difference between winning half of the pot and taking the whole pot.
