A Baccarat game starts when the player and the banker are dealt two cards, where the value of the hand is determined by the face values of the cards. All cards from ten to King count as a zero, the ace counts as one and the rest of the cards (from two to nine) count as their face value. Following the rules of Baccarat, the player or the banker who has a total sum of eight or nine, is considered to have a natural hand and thus be winning. However, when there is no such a hand, the Baccarat game is played according rules described here. If the player’s initial two cards make a sum of five or less the player receives another card.
