History

Being the oldest casino game in the world, Roulettes history started in 1655 when the first roulette wheel was invented in France. The name of the inventor was Blaise Pascal, a highly intelligent mathematician and scientist whose actual aim was to test the numerical theories he was working on. The lucky wheel made such an impression on the people that the game of roulette soon turned into one of the most popular entertainment games for its time and was naturally presented in the first casino ever opened in the French capital, the city of Paris. In 1842 Francois and Luis Blanc, the two brothers who behind the first casino, added to the lucky wheel the numbers zero to thirty-six, two colors red and black, as well as odd and even numbers.
