History

The origins of the Omaha Hi Lo Poker game do not come from the city bearing the same name in Nebraska in the United States of America. It is believed to have originated in 1903 but no written proof is available. The first document that mentioned Omaha Hi Lo Poker was written in 1926 and since then, it has become a really popular game. This relatively new game was a popular poker variant in many homes but it was not really played in any casinos. It was in 1982 that the game was introduced to the Las Vegas casinos and soon turned out to be a favorite game for many players as it is fast and easy to play.
