History
The history of Poker started with a steamboat trip from New Orleans to Mississippi. The game has been modified many times and in many ways, some of which we know today as Stud Poker, Omaha Hi Lo and much later, Caribbean Stud Poker. The history of Caribbean Stud Poker isn't long, as it dates back only to the late eighties of the last century. Despite being so recent, no information has been preserved as to who invented the game and why. Some people say that Caribbean Stud Poker was formed as a combination of two other popular casino games, these being Black Jack and Poker, because playing casino-based or online Caribbean Stud Poker includes a betting pattern like the one with Black Jack, where the player bets against the dealer.
