  2. You guys are making me blush!

I really appreciated the overly-kind words about Six Pixels of Separation - The Twist Image Podcast.

I’d love to be a guest on the Forward Podcast (the pleasure would be all mine).

This is a great post, great episode and one I will be encouraging people to connect to.

    Keep up the great work.

  3. Joseph - Thanks for the comment! And for taking the time to listen to Luke and me ramble.

Mitch - I’ll drop you a line, we’ll get you on the next episode!

  4. Joseph: thanks for stopping by and glad you enjoyed it. I’ve certainly enjoyed your work since the beginning. Keep it coming.
Mitch: I never meant to say anything nice. Perhaps I mistook you for someone else. Are we sure we gave you a good review? Looking forward to hearing your interview with Paull. Past time.

  5. I loved your take on the marketing podcasts. Also a big fan of Jaffe, Joel, Chapman, Holtz etc. Are you listed on iTunes? We will be covering a lot of PR on our new ‘Ten Golden Rules of Internet Marketing Podcast’, particularly how to web optimize press releases for pick up on the search engines and social media press releases.

  6. Fellas…thanks for the kind words. Cheque is in the mail.

  7. Luke and Paull, maybe it would be helpful if I tell you what students most often ask me about:

-Basic career advice: how to get an internship, what employers are looking for, what to expect the first week on a new job (maybe have an old PR and a young PR’s perspective)
-How to assemble a portfolio (paper AND digital)
-Subspecialities that probably don’t get much attention in the classroom: investor relations, fundraising, B2B

    Whaddya think?

  9. Karen: those are excellent ideas, thank you for your contributions. I love all of those ideas. That’s food for thought, make no mistake. We’ll see how to work those topics into some of the future editions. Thanks again. Keep ‘em coming.

Terry: You should see a doctor about that. David’s cheque has arrived, btw. Yours has unfortunately not arrived yet. Please see to correcting that oversight or I will not be able to control my Australian friend. Keep up the great work up north, we eagerly devour your knowledge.

  10. Many thanks. I’ve already recommended this episode to some colleagues - you’ve given a great overview of the PR/marketing/new media podosphere.

One additional show I follow and would recommend is Michael Seaton’s, “The Client Side”, at http://www.theclientsideblog.com/podcast/
