Forward Podcast #13 :: PR Learning Online
Forward Podcast 13 looks at online learning opportunities for young PR professionals. Paull interviews two of the PR blogosphere’s most geographically isolated communicators, Lee Hopkins and Karel McIntosh, about their learning experience online.
Lee Hopkins lives in Adelaide, Australia and is a standout member of the online PR community. He writes the excellent Better Communications Results blog and co-hosts the lively Better Desirable Roasted Communications Cafe podcast with Allan Jenkins. He also regularly contributes to For Immediate Release (the leading PR podcast) and is responsible for great free resources such as the Forward PR Guide on Internal Communication and the Social Media for Business white paper (with Trevor Cook).
Karel McIntosh lives in Trinidad and Tobago and writes the Caribbean PR blog. Karel is a great example of a young PR professional taking advantage of online resources to learn from communicators around the world.

Great podcast, again, Paull. Lee always offers us a wonderful conversation. I especially enjoyed learning about Caribbean PR/journalism education from Karel. Fantastic.
I find myself continually impressed by Forward Blog. You are all doing a great job.
In fact, after thinking about this, I went searching and realized you have all accomplished a Technorati rank of 20,616 (704 links from 142 blogs), an Alexa rank of 105 links to forward-moving.com and a Google page rank of five.
I hope you all realize that there are tons of professionals out there blogging and creating sites that have yet achieved this level of attention.
So, I know this comment is kind of out of place for this post, but wanted to say congratulations anyway.
Take care.

Thanks, Robert! Wow … I hadn’t done a thorough ego check on the site in a while, so thanks for that — what a nice boost!
