Forward’s Managing Editor Interviewed for HigherEd BlogCon

HigherEdBlogCon 2006Erin Caldwell, Forward’s managing editor, has once again shown why she is the impresario of young PR blogging; this time being interviewed for the HigherEd BlogCon.

Forward has mentioned the HigherEd BlogCon earlier, and it is certainly an outstanding resource for anyone interested in education and the new tools of the social web. Here’s some further background.

The interview with Erin will also be interesting for fans of Forward, as she delves into some of the thinking behind this site.

I recommend taking some time to swing by the interview, along with the rest of the site. It will be well worth your effort!

Forward Contributor, Stephanie Tate, Tries Her Hand at Blogging

pic_tate2.jpgIf you’ve looked over our contributors page, you’re probably familiar Stephanie Tate, who is a sophomore in PR at Auburn University. Stephanie has been working behind the scenes at Forward for the past few months and did a lot of work on our initial student-oriented launch. (View her bio here.)

She will be publishing her very first post soon, so I thought I’d give her a formal introduction, since she’s new to the blogging side of Forward. Actually, she’s new to blogging in general — her first post here will be her first post ever! But I personally have a lot of faith in Stephanie. I know she’ll do a great job.

She’s enthusiastic about learning this new medium, like the rest of us, and she’s doing very well to get a taste of it early! So welcome Stephanie! (No pressure.)
